Forum: etree Subject: Can you delete a show you uploaded?

I thought this was possible, but am not seeing a way how to anywhere. Something I uploaded is being retransfered to correct some errors in it, so I will want to take the faulty version down shortly.

Well, I found this nice little walk through about checking files out to replace them:

Can the same method be used to remove a show if I simply delete the items and don't put replacement files in their place?

Yes, that's exactly how I'd handle it. Check out, delete all of the bad files and their derivatives (including the m3u and zip files), check in. I might put a note in the "description" field so people don't file error reports about missing files.

After you re-upload, you'll need to tell the system to re-run the derivation process to create new mp3's - go into edit item > item manager > derive.
